In my first go I went solo...I know I know, I sound like a really crazy dude going solo when the game states its hard. In all honesty, now that I know how to win the game, it's not scary anymore. (That's me being me). FACT: My first solo experience...roughly 45 minutes with interruptions where I had to step away to take care of a few things. Now that that is out of the way, here is how I conquered my monsters.
As a solo player, I lured each monster into a room and explored the map afterwards. (Hey, it works with bullies to...just invite them to dumpster dive by throwing their most precious things inside). wait nevermind. *bad advice*
Anyways, the game was really neat! the atmosphere was great, (a little repetitious), but I had a feeling there would be a boss wandering around when I heard the loud screeching only to find out it was a creepy crawling...alien? I loved the feeling of playing F.E.A.R. but with furries. I wish there was more to the game as well as different maps to play on. Weapons gave it nice touch. If I ever creep around an area where there are monsters or paranormal stuff, I will most definitely take weapons with me. My life story spoken dramatically in this game.
I do plan another solo at night... >:D only so that I won't need coffee to keep me up. JK. I loved the game. I will try to speed through it in hopes I don't have that many folders to find.
I legit REALLY liked this game. I've been looking ALL OVER for free multiplayer horror games to record with friends and most have been so bad. This was a really fresh change for me :D
This game is great, the idea is solid behind this and it feels like the beginning of the movie resident evil 2 every time my friends and I start up a new match with port forwarding or while I play solo, there are a few bugs for us in version 1.1.3 like how you can fall through the elevators if you don't jump when the doors close but besides that it is great, I wish there was a way to set up how many monsters there can appear on a map to make it harder rather than changing just the intervals of them getting back up and the room size sliders but it works well enough as it is, especially since it is in progress and doubly so since you can pay what you want, I also think that the rifleman class might have too much ammo with his sidearm and automatic rifle when there is a chance for weapons to spawn throughout the map as well. Like if there was a certain mode for HARDCORE players back in the game and multiplayer like in the previous versions with ai monsters and the attack faces too. If you haven't checked out v1.0.2 there is a lot there that didn't make it into the new version so I would recommend checking that out if you felt like a drastic change in scenery but it isn't procedural so it's replay value without friends is fairly limited. I'm sticking to how I praised the game in the first place with it's few in number but large in functionality monsters and faces that sneak up on you design, It's procedural levels making it fun for hours on end, and It's shock inducing atmosphere with a relieving lack of jump scares for a genre that is so plagued with immediate spooks instead of the feel of constant dread that Copycat's Phenomenon delivers to the player every run through.
P.S. The different character animals to choose from and also the choice of classes on top of that adds up for some crazy combinations and a lot more developers should take note on the amount of options the players' have for their playthroughs even before they start the game to find random loot to add to it. Not to mentions the plethora of mechanics like being able to lose your helmet making it hard to light your surroundings if you haven't picked up anther light source. Solid mechanics, solid atmosphere, solid game 10/10.
I played a bit of it to see how it ran and so far, its really cool in my opinion. If you are still pushing updates, I recommend one thing for the recon class, and that would be a motion tracker of some sort, that way you dont end up confronting enemies a lot if your out of supplies like medkits and ammo. Since you only have a handgun and getting guns takes a bit of effort, it would be helpful for solo recon players.
Games great. Especially fun with friends. However, I am curious as to what the 4th floor is and how/if you can access it. I would assume that it has yet to be implemented
This game is pretty cool! The Combat Shotgun and the way its handled really reminds me of FEAR and the atmosphere is well placed.
It would be cool if you could make a discord server so people can host and join the server that you're in and discuss or whateves, this is merely a small suggestion.
I wouldn't mind if you'd create the server yourself, that's OK(just don't forget to give me the link). The thing is - I don't think that anybody wants to play right now as the main "wave" of players has already passed.
There's one thing that scared me out of the most other than monster or the creepy atmosphere, it's whenever the monster hit me and I lost my flashlight. Is there's any way to get it back since the whole map is mostly pitch black and sometimes the monster spawned right behind me.
Hey, I played with a couple of friends, and it seemed that the monsters were getting horribly desynced, where i would see them, and they couldn't, or would shoot the air, and it would kill a monster like 2 rooms away, imagine this has been reported tho
No worry man, the game is pretty fun, had a blast being really stressed, kinda reminds me of the multiplayer in Cry of Fear. Maybe it would be interesting if the medic could revive people in PVE, along with the self revive thing.
IDK, just an idea.
Oh, also, other players kinda bob up and down on the elevators (I imagine it's from the desyncing), but that's so minor i forgot about it.
Thank you, Achuapanqui. I've fixed the "nonamemonster" bug in the new update(v1.0.1). But I'm not sure about "noclass noname" bug, were you playing with someone?
There's a program called LogMeIn Hamachi that allows you to create some sort of "virtual networks" and trick your and your's friend PC into thinking that you're in the same network(LAN) even if you're really not There should be tons of tutorial on YouTube
It depends? If you want to play the game with your friend by LAN(local network): host must press Win+R -> type "cmd" -> type "ipconfig" -> search local IP address, other clients will use it to establish the connection or you could just https://whatismyipaddress.com/ Otherwise, I'm afraid that you have to use other third-party tools to play with each other.

Check readme.txt in the game directory
Okay thank you
yay update :))))

Thanks for feedback, creating a discord server is an awesome suggestion.
I can actually help you create the discord server and probably help moderate the server, with your permission of course.
I wouldn't mind if you'd create the server yourself, that's OK(just don't forget to give me the link). The thing is - I don't think that anybody wants to play right now as the main "wave" of players has already passed.
I see, well in that case; I'll just setup the server for now and give you the discord, probably tomorrow. Better start somewhere, right?

Here you go
Me: being sneaky by crouching
Monsters: That's beyond science
There's one thing that scared me out of the most other than monster or the creepy atmosphere, it's whenever the monster hit me and I lost my flashlight. Is there's any way to get it back since the whole map is mostly pitch black and sometimes the monster spawned right behind me.
anyway epic game, it's reminds me of F.E.A.R.
Thanks for feedback, you can find flashlights or glowsticks in some of the rooms that you can equip later.
sadly I used the glowstick to lit up another room and I don't have any back up, now I learn that glowstick is important items
Hey, I played with a couple of friends, and it seemed that the monsters were getting horribly desynced, where i would see them, and they couldn't, or would shoot the air, and it would kill a monster like 2 rooms away, imagine this has been reported tho
Thanks for feedback, extremely sorry for the bugs, I've updated the description.
No worry man, the game is pretty fun, had a blast being really stressed, kinda reminds me of the multiplayer in Cry of Fear.

i tried the new version and found some bugs
the monsters do not attack
Thank you, Achuapanqui. I've fixed the "nonamemonster" bug in the new update(v1.0.1). But I'm not sure about "noclass noname" bug, were you playing with someone?
how do i play with a friend from two different PCs and not in LAN?
You'd have to port forward or use Hamachi-esque services
I Cant play with a friend we put the IP but it dosent wor
Try Hamachi, but do it at your own risk
what do you mean
There's a program called LogMeIn Hamachi that allows you to create some sort of "virtual networks" and trick your and your's friend PC into thinking that you're in the same network(LAN) even if you're really not
There should be tons of tutorial on YouTube
I create a server with a friend and only the host can see the monsters
Thanks for the bug. I'll try to fix that in the future.
how did you do it (not lan pls)
Hamachi
where the ip address info
It depends?
If you want to play the game with your friend by LAN(local network): host must press Win+R -> type "cmd" -> type "ipconfig" -> search local IP address, other clients will use it to establish the connection
or you could just https://whatismyipaddress.com/

like what?
Sad because this game is purely multiplayer. Would love to see what's in store but no one's playing!
I just found this site out and saw this game i wouldnt mind giving it a whirl and if you want to coop let me know
make a server?
